Light the charcoal with a strong flame and place it on a heatproof bowl. Use tweezers or tongs so you don’t burn your fingers. Wait until the charcoal mellows and magically sprinkle it on top of the charcoal. Don't use too much in one go, a little goes a long way. Blow a little air and let your spirit dance with the elements.
